About/CV 👋

I build medical AI research systems with engineering roots and clinical curiosity.

A more personal biography and contact links.

Hi, I am Sina 👋. I am an AI and Generative AI researcher working around radiology, medical imaging, and clinical translation. My background started in electrical and biomedical engineering, then moved through MRI physics, medical image simulation, deep learning, and now clinically grounded AI research.

My research spans cardiac MRI and cancer CT/MR imaging, with a focus on foundation models, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, multimodal vision-language models, and latent diffusion models for image synthesis and automated clinical decision support. I develop robust, data-efficient algorithms for disease diagnosis, image segmentation, anomaly detection, risk stratification, prognostic modelling, survival analysis, and treatment-response prediction across both cardiovascular and cancer applications.

I enjoy working on challenges in medical AI, developing frameworks, testing, explaining, mentoring, and translating technical ideas between engineering, radiology, and clinical research communities.
